The institute has an extensive technical library spread over 15,000 square feet with a vast collection of books along with numerous national and international journals and periodicals.

The Library is managed by a Chief Librarian along with seven Library Assistants. The library is equipped with modern document archival and duplication machines.

An e-library, with internet connectivity is an extension to the library. Besides computerized bibliographic reference information, classified abstracts of publications and journals and even full texts of papers are provided.
