IIST Indore has an extensive technical library spread over a huge area of 15,000 square feet with a vast collection of business magazines, pharmacy books, national and international journals and periodicals.

This contemporary library is entirely devoted to the scholastic needs of the college students and faculty members. The library has also got a separate newspaper zone. Moreover, this sprawling library carries everything that supports teaching, learning, research and scholarship activities of the Institute.

The library at IIST is fully equipped with modern document archival and duplication machines and it is being successfully managed by a Chief Librarian along with seven library assistants.

E- LIBRARY is fully functional with the objective of providing e-resource to all student and faculty members. It provides multitudes of video lectures, e-books, online journals (through subscription of INDEST, DELNET), simulator on curriculum subjects and other digital resources to facilitate learning and research.

Over 1500 video lectures pertaining various topics of engineering and management, 120 simulation of Physics and Mathematics, 200 application of engineering, over 640 e-book are available in the library which also has a huge data bank of emerging minor and major projects for the benefit of students and faculty.

E- Library also assist students in placement by providing a rich resource on corporate data bank, corporate specific HR and technical questionnaire, modules on Personality Development, Aptitude and Verbal and non Verbal reasoning .

Book bank facility is offered to all students wherein six books are given for the entire semester. In addition, students can take additional books as referred by the faculty. The Library also subscribes to DELNET and INDEST so that students can refer to international journals.
